Manifestation

Manifest desires easier by putting them off the pedestal

I learned this technique after a long time of trying to manifest my dream car. Actually it wasn’t a very difficult to attract car, and it’s not unrealistically financially out of reach for me. It’s just that that particular car in where I live is a bit difficult to find, that’s all.

But me trying to put it on a pedestal and imagining it as my dream achievement, made it all the while so difficult to get to. No matter how much I visualize it, give thanks for it, it’s just getting more and more elusive from me. It’s always at a place, just out of reach by an inch.

So I finally followed some of the old teachings [can’t remember from which book], write it down somewhere about how much I’m enjoying driving it, the key is to use present tense and then forget about it. Didn’t fret about it, didn’t miss it while I was driving my then current car, just being happy with the present.

And lo and behold, out of nowhere, I got the cash and at the same time I found the car, randomly and the seller was more than happy to give it to me at the price I wanted. The car was in such a pristine condition that it’s better than the condition I imagined when it was on my pedestal.

This technique holds true for most of the other things I’ve achieved in my life, trying to secure seed funding for my startup, building my own PC, getting my first ever MacBook Pro, traveling back to my home town after several years, all just came by when I put them down from a pedestal and treated them on my own level.

We often unknowingly glorify our desires and try to make them feel like this really special thing, that’d be unimaginable to have or experience it, which makes it harder for the universe to grant us since we’re always imagining it at an arm’s length, it’s alway out of reach by an inch.

If you’re reading this, you know you have those desires on the pedestal, get them down today, it’ll help you. And also, before I forget, you can still give thanks for those desires in your gratitude journal, just keep them in present tense.

For example: I’m really happy and grateful to be able to drive my [dream car] everyday.

Thank you. Have an amazing day.
